We're passionate about sailing and helping you stay physically active, mentally and emotionally engaged whilst having fun on and off the water.

We've put together a range of membership options for you to choose from, so take a tour, and choose the one that suits you, your age and your lifestyle.

Joining members are required to have RYA Dinghy Sailing Level 2, Youth Stage 3*, or RYA Start Windsurfing / Wingfoiling,
or a similar qualification or experience up to or above those levels, for your safety and to protect Club equipment.

*Youth members can participate in our Tuesday evening coached Pirates sailing sessions with RYA Stage 2 but need Stage 3 to use Club boats.
Windsurfing youths (Zoomers) is for anyone age 8-16 who has their RYA stage 1 windsurfing level.

Membership options

Just passed an RYA course at OSTT or another RYA centre?
Save up to 21% off our annual membership fee, or more if you are joining
mid-season and get straight out on the water to hone those new skills.

OSTT (Oxford Sail Training Trust) RYA (Royal Yachting Association)

We require all joining members to have RYA Dinghy Sailing Level 2, Youth Stage 3, or
RYA Start Windsurfing / Wingfoiling, or a similar qualification or experience up to or above those levels.

Family membership is a great way to save multiple membership fees.
One fee and all (suitably qualified) immediate family members including
children under 18 can enjoy our membership benefits.

There are some great benefits to being under 18
And one of them is saving up to 80% off our annual adult membership fees.
We think that's a stonking deal. Note the qualification levels:
(Youth Stage 3 for buddy sailing in Club equipment, Stage 2 for Pirates, subject to weather & safety assessments)

Studying at Oxford or Brookes universities or an 18-25 sailor?
Save up to a massive 60% on our regular adult membership fees and enjoy all the benefits of full membership.

As with being a youth, there are advantages to advancing years and being 66 or older
And yes, one is reduced membership fees, perhaps not quite as generous as for students or youths,
but up to almost 50% off the regular adult membership fee still makes a big difference

If the primary member is 66 or older
Then your immediate family can all benefit from this and save up to 50% off our regular family membership fee.

Just want to crew for a full member; then no problem, join us as Crew and save 50% on the full adult membership fee.
Please let us know which member helm you plan to crew with.

If you've hung up your dinghy boots and are sailing model boats,
or want to be in the loop with what's going on at the Club, or are a runner wanting to use our changing rooms and get a members' discount in the café,
then ask us about the Concessionary membership

Are you RYA Safety Boat qualified or higher?
We rely on volunteers to crew our safety boats for Club and open events, and for coaching and other sessions.
If you're prepared to serve a minimum of 10 duties per year then you will be rewarded with an 80% discount on your membership fees.
If you have Advanced or Intermediate Powerboat qualifications we can get you Safety-Boat qualified with a little extra rescue-specific training.

Are you a family of power boat drivers and are all willing to volunteer for duties,
then this is the membership plan for you saving 70% on the regular family membership fees.

For those who want to sail at OSC in January to March when winter conditions make sailing in your summer location unattractive. Please contact us.

If you are helping the Club by volunteering,
we can add you to this membership category by arrangement.
